RAW WOOL COLLECTION POINTS

Our goal is that the wool of German rural sheep breeds is no longer thrown away, but recycled. We can currently process the raw wool of the following sheep breeds here at Nordwolle:

  • Gray wool Pomeranian countryside sheep >
  • Alpine stone sheep >
  • Brown Mountain Sheep >
  • Coburg fox sheep >
  • Gotland sheep >
  • Jura sheep >
  • Carniolan stone sheep >
  • Ouessant sheep >
  • Romanov sheep >
  • Black Mountain Sheep >
  • Forest sheep >

HOW DOES THE RAW WOOL GET TO NORDWOLLE?

Unfortunately, we cannot collect small quantities personally. However, if you live near one of our shepherds, you have the opportunity to give the raw wool of your sheep there. In the collection point map below you will find all shepherds who currently accept small quantities.

SEQUENCE

In order to drop off your small quantities at a collection point, please fill this out this Form completely and send it by email to info@nordwolle.com. We cannot guarantee you a payout without this form. Please bring your wool sorted and clearly marked with your name and breed to one of our collection points. Be so kind and contact the selected shepherd by phone before delivery and announce your delivery. If necessary, arrange an exact date for this.

After delivery, the wool is stored there until the sheep shearer is scheduled for the respective shepherd. As soon as the Sturm company has collected all the wool and brought it to Tönning, it is sorted and weighed. We then receive a report on the quantities delivered. Immediately afterwards we can pay you the amount for your wool. So please be patient, because most shepherds only shear their sheep once a year.
